Why is there no or low pressure from my PowerWasher Pressure Washer after normal use?
    • M
      Melissa MathewsJul 31, 2025
There are several potential causes for low pressure after a period of normal use. These include worn seals or packings, worn or obstructed valves, and a worn unloader piston. Please contact our customer service department at www.power-washer.us or 1-800-381-0999.

How to fix no or low pressure on my PowerWasher PW2420 Pressure Washer?
    • T
      Tiffany HurleyAug 4, 2025
If you're experiencing no or low pressure with your pressure washer, consider these potential causes and solutions: * Ensure the spray wand is set to high pressure. * Verify that the water supply is at least 5 gpm @ 20 psi. * Check for leaks at the high-pressure hose fitting and repair them, applying sealant tape if needed. * Inspect the nozzle for obstructions and follow the Nozzle Cleaning instructions. * Clean the water filter screen. * Remove air from the hose by turning off the engine and water source, disconnecting the water source, and then reconnecting once a steady stream of water is present. Squeeze the trigger to remove remaining air. * Use a high-pressure hose under 100 feet (30 m).

What to do if my PowerWasher PW2420 Pressure Washer will not draw chemicals?
    • P
      Paul AllenAug 10, 2025
If your pressure washer isn't drawing chemicals, several factors could be the cause. The spray wand may not be in low pressure. The chemical filter could be clogged, so you should clean it. The chemical screen might not be fully submerged in the cleaning solution, so ensure the detergent siphon hose is fully submerged. The chemical itself might be too thick, in which case you should dilute it to the consistency of water. Also, avoid using an excessively long pressure hose; instead, lengthen the water supply hose. If there is chemical build up in the chemical injector, please contact our customer service department at www.power-washer.us or 1-800-381-0999.

What to do if water is leaking at the pump of my PowerWasher PW2420?
    • A
      allen05Aug 20, 2025
If you notice water leaking at the pump, check for loose connections and tighten them. If that doesn't solve the issue, it could be due to piston packings worn, worn or broken o-rings, or pump head or tubes damaged from freezing. Please contact our customer service department at www.power-washer.us or 1-800-381-0999.

How to fix water leaking at gun or spray wand connection of PowerWasher PW2420?
    • F
      Felicia CunninghamAug 26, 2025
If water is leaking at the gun or spray wand connection, it could be due to a worn or broken o-ring, which you should check and replace. Alternatively, the hose connection might be loose, so try tightening it.
