Tourner Ia bague de reglage des distances jusqu'a ce que le motif
apparaisse clairement et nettement dans le champ annulaire en
verre
depoli .
Methode de mise au point entrant notamment en ligne de campte
pour Ia microphotographie et les prises de vue avec des loupes,
ainsi que dans le cas de l'utilisation d'objectifs a ouverture relative
plus petite (indice de diaphragme superieur a 4).
Le champ depoli de Ia lentille de Fresnel n'est pas prevu pour Ia
mise
au point de Ia nettete de l'image.
Insteilen met het matglazen ringveld
Afstandsinstelring draaien tot het motief duidelijk en scherp in het
matglazen ringveld verschijnt .
Instelmethode voor loep- en mi cro-opnamen alsmede bij het gebruik
von objectieven met een kleinere relative opening (diafragma-
waarde groter dan 4) .
Het gemalteerde Fresnelveld is niet voor het insteilen von de beeld-
scherpte gedacht.

Schärfentiefenanzeige
Die Grenzen des Schörlentiefenbereiches bei entsprechender Blende
können auf der Schörfentiefenskale (13) abgelesen werden.
Beispiel: 3m- bei Blendenzahl 8
Schärfentiefe von 2 m bis 5 m
Durch Drücken
der Handabblendtaste (12), Stellung M des Um-
schalters für die Blendenfunktion (34) oder unterer Stellung des
S
chalthebels (PANCOLAR 1 ,8/50) kann die Schörlentiefe auch im
Sucherbild beurteilt werden.
I nfrarotaufnahmen erfordern geringfügige Korrektur der Scharfein-
s tellung. Ermittelten Entfernungswert dem Infrarotpunkt gegenüber-
s tellen.
Depth-of-field indication
The depth of field attained with a certain diaphragm setting can
be read on scale (13) .
Example : Distance 3 metres, diaphragm number 8,
depth of field extends from 2 metres to 5 metre s.
The depth-of-field can be judged in the viewfinder by pressing the
manualstop-down key (12), setting the diaphragm operation selec-

ion switch (34) to position M, and by se tting the Iever ol the PAN-
C OLAR 50 mm f/ 1.8 to its bottom po s ition .
In
frared exposures call for a slight correction of the focusing by set-
tin g the determined distanc e value oppo s it e to th e infrar ed poin t.
