Why is there no sound from my Precision Power Car Stereo System?
    • S
      Sherry MartinAug 11, 2025
If there is no sound, check all fuses to the amplifier. Also, confirm the remote turn-on lead is connected at the amp and at the radio/switched +12Volts. Ensure the ground is secure and the gain on the amp and source level volume are properly adjusted. Clean the contacts on the fuse holder and check for speaker or wire shorts.

If the amp is not switching on, re-secure the power cable if there's no power to the power wire. Ensure you have a bare metal ground if the ground is poor. Also, check the fuses at the source and amp.

What to do if my Precision Power PC1000.1 status LED is on red?

      Troy CooperAug 26, 2025
If the status LED is red, wait for the amp to cool down. If that doesn't work, check the speakers for shorts, inspecting both the wire and the speakers themselves.

What to do if there is no sound on one channel of my Precision Power PC1000.1 Car Stereo System?

If there is no sound on one channel, look for shorts, pinches, or disconnected terminals. Also, swap the left and right channels. If the previously bad side begins working, the problem is before the amplifier.
