1 Overview
1.1 Introduction
Thank you for purchasing a CDL-series loudspeaker. CDL full-range
speakers employ a patent-pending Constant Directivity design that
provides consistent SPL and frequency response coverage.
CDL-series loudspeakers utiliize a 15˚constant curvature vertical array of 2-inch
high-frequency drivers centered in front of a single, larger low-frequency
driver. This allows them to radiate sound in a focused directional pattern with
up to 90˚ of vertical coverage when using 6 CDL loudspeakers in an array.
The result is a true hybrid of point-source and line-array technology that
combines the benefits of each into the best listening experience possible.
