CLEANING MINERAL DEPOSITS - DESCALING
1. To ensure the operational eciency, avor of coee and the cleanliness of the internal parts of
the appliance, regular descaling is required with a frequency of once in 2-3 months.
2. Fill the water tank with water and descaler to the MAX level (at a water to descaler ratio of 4:1).
Use “household descaler” only.
3. Place the funnel in its position without coee powder. Place a jug or cup on the detachable tray.
4. Press "ON/OFF' switch to "ON" position.
5. Press pump control switch to "
" position.
6. Press Coee/Steam switch to "
" position.
7. Once the water starts owing out, press the pump control switch to "
"position.
8. Wait for few moments. e water in the coee maker heats up. Once the heating is over, the
indicator light in the pump control switch illuminates.
9. Press the pump control switch to "
" position. Hot water will start owing out. Allow about
two cups of water to ow out.
10. Turn the pump contro switch to "
". e indicator light in the pump control switch will
go o. Wait till the indicator light glows again.
11. Press the Coee/Steam switch to "
" position. Rotate the steam control knob gently to last
position. Steam will come out from steam ejector nozzle.
12. Make steam for about 2 minutes.
13. Repeat this process for 2 to times. to make sure that the steam eject nozzle is clean.
14. Repeat all the above cleaning processes with clean water once or twice
