What to do if the analog outputs on my Price BFC Controller aren't working?
    • J
      jvalenciaJul 28, 2025
If the analog outputs on your Price Controller aren't functioning, ensure the BFC has 24VAC power. Then, use a multimeter to check the voltage at the analog output in question. You should observe a voltage range of 0-10VDC.

How to troubleshoot non-functional binary outputs on Price Controller?
    • K
      Kiara PatelAug 1, 2025
To troubleshoot non-functional binary outputs on your Price Controller, first, verify that the BFC has 24VAC power. The binary outputs send out 24VAC and are factory wired to the LED on the FFU. If the LED doesn't light up, check the voltage at the binary outputs and COM terminals.

Why am I getting BACnet Communication Errors with my Price Controller?
    • C
      Christopher WillisAug 12, 2025
BACnet MS/TP communication relies on a RS-485 network that must be wired in a daisy chain configuration, with one main cable and each device connected directly along its path. Avoid Star, Bus, “T”, or any other network configuration. Price devices do not require EOL or termination. Each device on the network must have a unique Binary Address. Proper grounding is essential for the MS/TP BACnet Network. Ensure that the 24VAC HOT and COMMON wires are not reversed on any controllers, as this will stop the BACnet MS/TP Network from communicating.

Why is my Price BFC Controller BACnet communication failing?
    • K
      Kathleen JamesNov 6, 2025
BACnet MS/TP communication issues with your Price controller can stem from several factors: * **Wiring Configuration:** Ensure a daisy chain setup is used, avoiding star, bus, or "T" configurations. * **Polarity:** Maintain correct polarity in MSTP wiring, ensuring consistent wire colors for positive and negative terminals throughout the network. * **Termination:** Price devices do not use EOL or termination. * **Network Speed:** The network speed or baud rate must be the the same throughout the network. Default speed is 76800, but BACnet MS/TP supports 9600, 19200, 38400 and 76800. * **Device Address:** Confirm each device on the network has a unique binary address. * **Grounding:** Ground every 24VAC transformer common/neutral to prevent communication issues and voltage spik...
