Overview

This document describes the Primada PC-5610 Speedy Intelligent Cooker, a digitally controlled and automatic pressure cooker designed to combine the functions of a pressure cooker, rice cooker, and braising cooker while addressing their individual shortcomings. It features a microcomputer-controlled cooking pressure (temperature) circuit, advanced structure, and a chic design, making it an ideal kitchen appliance for modern families.

Function Description:

The Primada PC-5610 offers a wide range of cooking functions, including:

  • Cooking Rice: Efficiently cooks rice, saving up to 15% in time and 20% in electricity compared to conventional rice cookers. It can even cook rice at high altitudes.
  • Stewing Porridge, Soup, and Braising Meat: Saves over 40% in time and 45% in electricity compared to conventional cookers for these tasks.
  • Steaming: Provides a steaming function for various foods.
  • Reheating: A dedicated function for reheating cooked rice, with a recommendation to add a little water to prevent dryness.
  • Keep Warm: Automatically enters a nutritional keep-warm state after cooking is complete.
  • Preset Timer: Allows users to preset the cooking start time up to 24 hours in advance.
  • Optional Pressure Holding Time (Free Menu): Users can customize the pressure holding time from 0 to 99 minutes according to their taste and food requirements, bypassing the pre-set menu.
  • Cake Function: Designed for baking cakes without adding water. Users control the cooking time, and the cooker will switch to keep-warm mode after 2 hours if the temperature reaches 180°C.
  • Intelligent Unlock System: Features a powerful turbo fan that activates after cooking to cool down the internal temperature within minutes, allowing for easy and safe lid opening without manual pressure release.
  • Voice Prompts: Offers different voice language options for user convenience.
  • Power Failure Memory: If power is interrupted during cooking, the cooker will automatically resume the cooking process once power is restored.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Model: PC-5610
  • Power Supply: 220V~50Hz
  • Power: 900W
  • Capacity: 5L
  • Diameter: 22cm
  • Working Pressure: 0~70kPa
  • Maximum Pressure: 90kPa
  • Keeping Warm Temperature: 60~80℃
  • Preset Timer Range: 0.5~24 hours

Usage Features:

  • Easy Operation: The cooker is designed for simple and convenient use with multiple functions.
  • Menu Selection: Users can select different cooking functions by pressing the corresponding buttons on the control panel. Once selected, the cooking process starts automatically, and an alert tone sounds when finished, after which it enters the keep-warm state.
  • Lid Opening and Closing:
    • Opening: From the closed position, hold the handle, turn clockwise to the opened lid position, then pull the lid backwardly to a vertical position.
    • Closing: From the vertical position, hold the handle, close it downwardly to the opened lid position, then turn counter-clockwise until it reaches the closed lid position, accompanied by a "click" sound.
    • Dismantling: From the vertical position, hold the lid with both hands, adjust its height to about 10cm above the cooker's edge, turn counter-clockwise to the closed lid position, and then lift the lid upwards to remove it.
    • Installation: Hold the lid with both hands at the closed lid position, pull it upwards at a slant to create a 10cm gap between the lid and the cooker's upper edge. Buckle the lid's sliding valve into the cooker's slideway, turn clockwise to the opened lid position, and then put the lid down horizontally.
    • Important Note: During lid rotation, maintain a 10cm gap between the lid and the cooker's edge for smooth turning and removal.
  • Water and Food Levels:
    • The amount of water and food should not exceed 4/5 of the inner pot's height.
    • For foods that expand in water, the level should not exceed 3/5 of the inner pot's height.
    • The minimum allowable level is 1/5 of the inner pot's height.
    • For cooking rice, the maximum amount is 12 cups. One cup of rice typically requires one cup of water, but this can be adjusted based on rice type and personal preference.
  • Clock Setting: The clock can be adjusted when the cooker is in the non-timed setting state. To set the time, press "hour" and "minute" buttons simultaneously for one second, then use these buttons to adjust the hours and minutes. The setting is confirmed after 6 seconds or by pressing "start."
  • Language Setting: To change the language, press "Preset Timer" and "Free Menu" buttons simultaneously, then use the "Hour" button to select the language and "Start/Unlock" button to confirm.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning:
    • Always unplug the power supply before cleaning.
    • Wipe the outer pot and its surface with a damp cloth; do not immerse the cooker in water or spray water on it.
    • Remove and wash the steam water storage box, then wipe the upper body with a wet dishcloth.
    • Clean the inside of the lid with water, including the seal belt, pressure limiting valve, filter, vent, floating valve, and wipe with a dishcloth.
    • Wash the inner pot with a sponge or non-metallic soft brush, then wipe it dry.
    • Clean the pressure limiting valve and its holes with a small brush.
  • Seal Belt: Ensure the seal belt is properly fitted onto the inner part of the lid. If it's dirty or damaged, clean or replace it.
  • Floating Valve: If the floating valve is stuck, gently push the bar. If it doesn't sink after releasing pressure, spank the cooker several times to let it drop. If the seal ring for the floating valve is dirty or damaged, clean or replace it.
  • Inner Pot: The contact surface between the inner pot and the heating element must always be clean. Do not use the inner pot on other heating sources or replace it with other containers. If the inner pot is deformed, do not use it to prevent air leakage.
  • Non-stick Coating: Use a wooden or plastic ladle/spoon to avoid scratching the non-stick surface of the inner pot.
  • Anti-clogging Cover: The anti-clogging cover should be cleaned regularly to maintain hygiene.

Safety Features:

  • Lid Safety Device: Prevents pressure buildup if the lid is not properly closed. If the cooker is pressurized, the lid cannot be opened.
  • Pressure Limiting Device: If the pressure control device malfunctions and pressure exceeds the maximum working pressure, the pressure limiting valve will automatically discharge steam to maintain safe pressure levels.
  • Pressure Discharging Device: If the pressure limiting device fails and pressure reaches the maximum allowable threshold, the pressure discharging device will activate to release steam around the lid, preventing explosions.
  • Temperature Limiting Device: Automatically cuts off power if the inner pot is empty or reaches a threshold temperature.
  • Threshold Temperatures Safety Device: Automatically cuts off power if the inner temperature reaches the maximum allowable threshold.
  • Warnings:
    • Do not use the cooker with flammable products or in humid environments.
    • Do not damage the sealant washer or replace it with other rubber or tension washers.
    • Do not forcefully twist the inner steel ring of the lid. If the steel ring detaches, stop using the cooker until it is replaced.
    • Do not open the lid forcefully if the floating valve has not sunk.
    • Do not block the periphery of the clamping position of the lid with a cloth to ensure safety.
    • Do not attempt to open the cooker when there is still pressure inside.
    • Unplug the appliance from the mains after cooking before taking food.
    • Do not touch the lid during cooking or heating to avoid burns.
    • If steam is released around the lid during cooking, unplug the power supply immediately and send the product for repair, as this indicates a malfunction of the pressure limiting device.
    • If an alarm sounds and an error code is displayed, stop using the device and send it for checking and repair.
    • When moving the product, use the side handles, not the lid handle.
    • Do not disassemble the product or replace parts with non-original components. Only use spare parts produced by the company.
    • Avoid repeatedly using the "reheat cooked rice" function or using it for too little rice, as this can cause the rice to burn or stick to the bottom.
    • When reheating cooked rice, the amount should not exceed 2/5 of the capacity, as it may not be thoroughly heated.
