What to do if Ram plunger will not remain lowered after released from contact with load (creeps back up) in Pro-Lift Jack?
If the ram plunger creeps back up after releasing the load, it means there is air trapped in the system. If there is no contact between the lifted load and the jack saddle, simply remove the jack and follow the instructions on page 4 for bleeding air from system. However, if there is any loaded contact between the saddle and the vehicle, STOP, use another jack to raise the load high enough to re-install jack stands. Remove the affected jack, then the stands. Using the other jack, lower the load by turning the release valve counter-clockwise, but never more than 1/2 full turn, then follow the instructions on page 4 for bleeding air from system.
What to do if fluid leaks from reservoir area and Pro-Lift Jack saddle will not descend to lowest advertised height?
If fluid leaks from the reservoir area and the jack saddle doesn't fully descend, it could be due to an overfilled reservoir; drain the fluid to the correct level.
What to do if Pro-Lift Jack will not lift load?
If your Pro-Lift Jack isn't lifting, first, ensure the release valve is tightly closed by turning it clockwise until you feel firm resistance using the provided handle. If the issue persists, the load might be too heavy for the jack; in this case, consider using a jack with a higher capacity.
