How to Use
w WARNING
Burn Hazard. Always use an oven mitt to protect hand when
opening a hot wafe maker. Escaping steam can burn.
Before first use: Wipe bottom and
top Waffle Grids with a soapy, damp
cloth. Rinse cloth; then wipe Grids
again.
1. Plug cord into electrical outlet and
red POWER light comes on.
2. Preheat with cover closed until
green READY light comes on.
3. Raise Cover and
pour about 1/4
cup (59 mL)
of batter into
bottom of each
Wafe Grid.
Lower Cover.
4. Once you pour batter on Grids,
green READY light will turn off
when heating. Light will cycle on
and off and does not indicate that
wafe is done.
5. Wafes are done in about 2 1/2
to 3 1/2 minutes, depending on
recipe, or when steaming begins
to stop. Remove wafe with
plastic or wooden utensil. Never
use metal. This will damage the
nonstick coating.
6. Unplug when nished cooking and
let cool completely before storing.
POWER and READY Lights
Red POWER light comes on when
Wafe Maker is rst plugged in.
This light will stay on until the unit is
unplugged.
Green READY light comes on when
Wafe Maker has reached ideal
temperature to add batter. For best
results, wait until READY light comes
on before adding batter. Green READY
light will cycle on and off when
heating and does not indicate that
wafe is done.
