DO check contents of the compartments every so often.
DO check high quality fresh food and be sure it is thoroughly clean before refrigerating.
DO wrap all food in food q uality polythene b ags or air tight containers and make sure any
air is excluded.
Do Not store poisonous or dangerous s ubstances i n the appliance. It has been designed for
the storage of edible foods tuffs only.
Do Not leave the door open fo r long periods, as this will make the appliance more costly
to operate and cause excessive ice formation.
D
o Not use sharp objects such as knives to remove t he ice from the appliance. Only use a
plastic
scrapper.
Do Not put hot food i nt o the appliance. Let it cool down to room temperature.
Do Not put liquid-filled bottles or sealed cans containing carbonated liquids into the low
temperature compartment as they may b urst.
CLEANING AND MAINTENACE
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Remove all substances.
3. Wash the inside walls with a solution of mild detergent in warm water or 5ml
baking soda to 0.5 litre warm water.
4. Wash exterio
rs with a clean sponge or soft cloth and a mild detergent in warm water.
5. Rinse well and wipe dry
with a clean soft cloth.
6. Replace all containers.
7. Plug the appliance in.

The ice box compartment will need defrosting periodically or when the frost is more t han
3mm t hi ck.
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Remove the ice trays.
Ensure the drip tray is located correctly under the ice box.
3. When ice box comp
artment is fully defrosted, clean the inside (see ‘Cleaning and
maintenance’).
4. Close the door and plu
g the appliance in.
5. Set the thermostat temperature control to your normal setting.
