BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove any sticker or protective lm from the soleplate and clean the
soleplate with a damp cloth.
• Unwind and straighten the power and steam cords.
• Heat up the iron to the maximum temperature and iron over a damp piece of
cloth for several minutes to remove any residue on the soleplate.
NOTE :
• Some particles may come out of the soleplate when operating the iron for
the rst time. This is normal. The particles are harmless and will stop coming
out of the iron after a short while.
• When operating the steam generator, it may product a pumping sound. This
is normal. The sound tells you that water is being pumped into the steam
generator.
