OPERATION
Safety Lock
Your steam generator is equipped with a safety lock that holds the iron onto the
base for easy transport and storage.
If you need to move your steam generator from place to place, the safely lock
allows you to carry the appliance using the iron handle:
• Place the iron on the iron rest of the appliance and lock it into place (you will
hear an audible “click” sound).
• Hold the iron by its handle to transport your steam generator.
Steam Ironing
Before ironing, check that the garment to be ironed is suitable for steam ironing.
Always make sure the appliance is unplugged before lling the water tank.
1. Place the appliance on a at stable and heat-resistant surface.
2. Pull the water tank out of the appliance.
• Fill up to the maximum level “MAX”. Do not overll.
• Choice of water
This iron can be used with normal tap water. If the water in your area is
particularly hard, it is advisable to use distilled or demineralized water.
Do not use chemically descaled water or any other liquids for relling.
3. Slide the tank back into its housing until it clicks into place.
4. Completely unwind the power cord and plug in the appliance.
5. Set the temperature control dial.
