G Adjusting the direction of rotation and speed:
1. Selecting the direction of rotation:
This can be selected by using the toggle switch (F);
R = clockwise or L = counter-clockwise.
2. Selecting the speed:
The speed can be smoothly adjusted to the desired level by
turning the speed controller (D).
H IMPORTANT:
If you wish to change the direction of rotation (F), it is
imperative that you turn off the unit using the toggle switch
„POWER“ (C).
I IMPORTANT:
When changing grinding heads, it is likewise necessary that
the speed controller (D) either be placed in the „0“ speed
position or the unit turned off at the on/off switch.
J A foot pedal is included in the Promed 2520 delivery con-
tents. When using the foot pedal, attach the pedal to its con-
necting socket „FOOT CONTROL“ (G) on the rear side of
the unit. The toggle switch „POWER“ (C) must be in the „off“
position. You can now set the desired speed of rotation (D).
It is now possible for you to turn the unit on and off using the
foot switch (H).
oPeratinG tHe unit
IN CASES OF MALFUNCTIONING
• Check that the power supply is correct.
• Check whether the hand unit is connected correctly to the
main unit.
• Check whether the unit is switched „on“ (the green control
LED (I) must be glowing).
• Check whether the fuse (J) is still intact.
The fuse is to be found on the rear side of the unit. Be-
fore changing the fuse, please be sure to unplug the unit
from the mains outlet. To change the fuse, use a screwdri-
ver to unscrew the fuse holder and replace the micro fuse
(T 2 A / 250 V).
• If the problems have still not been solved after following
these steps, please consult your service center immediately.
