(2) For commercial vehicle, if abnormal brake operation is
found, kindly go to the nearest authorised PROTON ser-
vice outlets for inspection/repair.

There is no warranty regarding the accuracy of any given data
or statements. PROTON does not assume any responsibility
and disclaims any liability for damage, claim, demand, loss,
cost or expense arising from improper handling or beyond
reasonable care of the vehicle or wear and tear of the brake.
PROTON shall under no circumstances whatsoever, be liable
for any special, incidental or consequential damages which
may arise from such improper handling or beyond reasonable
care of the vehicle or wear and tear of the brake. Such posi-
tion is assumed, due to the conditions and methods of driving
and/or handling of the vehicle is beyond PROTON’s control.
The results produced by vehicle safety inspection by third party
authorised inspection centre may vary according to the
methods of driving and/or handling of the vehicle or may be
caused by the conditions of other components in the vehicle.
7 – CAR CARE AGAINST CORROSION
Inspect the body sheet metal panels of your Proton vehicle
on a regular basis (at least monthly) to detect any chips or
scratches in the paint or protective coating and to repair them
immediately. Special care should be taken to protect your
Proton vehicle from corrosion under the following conditions:
1. If you drive on roads with snow or near the ocean, flush
the underbody as needed, or at least weekly with clean
water.
2. It is important to keep the drain holes in the lower edges
of the body clear.
3. If your Proton vehicle is damaged due to an accident or
any event which may cause damage to the paint, have
your Proton vehicle repaired as soon as possible.
4. If you carry special cargoes, such as chemicals, fertilizers,
deicing salt, or other corrosive substances, be sure that
such materials are well packaged and sealed. Any corro-
sion that is caused by leakage of such materials will cause
the vehicle warranty void on the part which the leakage
has occurred.
5. If you drive frequently on gravel roads, we recommend
that you install stone guards behind each wheel where
possible.
Assistance can be requested from any authorised PROTON
service outlet if/or when required.
