PRUNUS J-982 BBS FM STEREO Radio User Manual

◆ This radio can only be played in headphone mode.

◆ Please do not use this product near water or put it into liquid.

◆ Please do not use this product near the environment over 40 degrees Celsius.

◆ Avoid ﬁerce lash, falling into the ground.

◆ Each index of the radio is adjusted well, so please do not adjust the components in

the radio.

◆ When you want to clean the cabinet, please use a soft cloth with detergent, do not

use alcohol, thinner and other strong detergent to clean it.

Thank you for purchasing the PRUNUS J-982 BBS FM stereo radio. In order to get the

best from the radio please read this manual carefully before using it and take special

notice of the section on precautions.

The J-982 radio requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) which can be replaced.

Battery installation method:

1. Push the <⑦Battery door> according to the arrow of “OPEN” on the battery door and

open it.

2. Place the batteries according to its polarity.

3. Close the battery door.

4. Change the battery in time if the sound is distorted or the volume is faint.

Note:

◆ If you do not use the radio for a long time, please take out the batteries.

◆ When removing the depleted battery, if the battery leaks, remove it and thoroughly

wipe the liquid in the unit.

◆ Waste batteries should be placed in designated recycling sites.

Radio Reception

1. Plug the headphones into the <①Earphone jack> and put on the headphones.

2. Push <②Power/BBS switch> to turn on the radio. You can push to BBS or On position

according to your preferences.

3. Push <③Mode switch> to choose AM, FM or FM ST mode; Turn the <④Tuning knob>

to adjust the position of red pointer inside <⑤Frequency display> to related frequency,

to select radio station.

4. Turn the <⑥Volume knob> to adjust the volume.

5. When ﬁnished listening, push <②Power/BBS switch > to the OFF position to turn oﬀ

the radio; Pull out the headphones and put them away.

Note:

◆ When receiving FM or FM stereo, the earphone wires are used as aerial. So please

don’t roll your earphone wires in case of reception is not good.

◆ When FM signal is weak, switch to FM band to reduce noise; When FM signal is strong,

if you want stereo sound, please turn to FM ST mode.

◆ When receiving AM, rotate the radio to get the best reception.

◆ In order to get better reception, when using the radio indoors, please approach it to

the window and do your best to keep it away from the electronic devices (such as com-

-puters, TVs, refrigerators, mobile phones, etc).
