Serial Communications Error Codes
Code Description
00
Power-Up Clear expected--Command ignored.
A command other than "A" (Power-Up Clear) was attempted after power-up or
power failure. Once this error has been received, it will be necessary to execute
a "Power-Up Clear" command. The next command will then be executed nor-
mally.
IMPORTANT: If this message is received it means that the SENTRY TIM-
100/120 has gone through its power-up sequence and has reset all
characteristics to the last saved version. It may be necessary to reinitialize the
controller.

Undefined command.
The command character that was received was not a legal command character.

Checksum error.
The checksum received by the SENTRY did not match the sum of the characters
in the command.

Input Buffer Overrun
The received command contained more than 71 characters for an analog com-
mand or 16 characters for a digital command. The command was ignored.

Non-printable ASCII Character received.
Command ignored. Only characters from 21 Hex to 7F Hex are permitted within
commands.

Data Field Error
Wrong number of characters received (too few or too many).
06
Communications Link Watchdog Time-out error.
07
Specified Limits Invalid.
