  If your tamped coffee isn't level after using the Puqpress Coffee Maker, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, make sure that you level the coffee grounds in the port-a-filter before tamping. Also, check if the port-a-filter fits snugly and doesn't wiggle during tamping; if it does, readjust the lower clamp.

  If tamping doesn't start on your Puqpress Coffee Maker while the machine is on and the display is working, the contactless sensor might be faulty. In this case, contact your dealer to replace the contactless sensor.
