The MAX2 can switch any input signal/standard to any combination of various
output signals / standards. The MAX2 can also simultaneously convert incoming
resolutions and refresh rates to different resolutions and refresh rates for each
output. For example, an HDMI 1080p60 input signal can be converted to
DisplayPort output, Fiber Optic output, and HDBaseT output each at different
resolutions. The Matrix Router can route multiple input / output configurations
simultaneously.
Note 12G-SDI is not a licensed HDCP interface therefore if the content
received from an HDMI input is protected by HDCP, a 12G-SDI output
card will not pass the signal.
MAX2 series HDBaseT I/O Cards are used in conjunction with MAX2 HDBaseT
Transceiver.
MAX2 series Fiber Optic I/O Cards are used in conjunction with their relative
MAX2 Fiber Transmitter or Receiver.
