Step 9: Check the dual pole:
Place the voltmeter positive
lead where the blue wire is
connected.
Place the negative lead where
the white wire is connected.
e voltage must be 13.2+ volts
(13.8 volts is optimal).
If the voltage is 13.2+, inspect
the wire for defects and replace
if necessary.
If there is no voltage reading,
skip to step 11.
Step 10: Next:
Place the voltmeter positive
lead where the yellow wire is
connected.
Place the negative lead on
ground.
e voltage reading should be
greater than 10 volts.
If the voltage is greater than 10
volts, proceed to step 11.
If the voltage is less than 10
volts:
Ǭ Conrm the source voltage
is above 13.4 volts.
Ǭ If yes, proceed to step 11.
Ǭ If no, replace the cover
assembly.
