The PHNC65 High Fidelity Headphones are a closed, dynamic, ear‐enclosing stereo headphone with
activenoisecancelingfunctionality.Disturbingambientnoiseinthelowfrequencyrangeisrecordedby
tinymicrophonesandthensignificantlyreducedasphaseinversetones.Thus,anoisecancelingofmore
than85%isachieved.

For
operation:two1.5Vmicrobatteries{typeAAA}arerequired.ThePHNC65canalsobeused
passively(withoutnoisecancelingandwithoutbatteries).Theswivelheadphonescomecompletewith
apracticaltransportcaseandtwoaudioadapters.


2. SettingUp&Operating

2.1‐InsertingBatteries

For active noise canceling you need two  1.5 V micro batteries (type AAA).To insert the batteries,
remove the left ear‐cover/panel, insert the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. Then
closethecompartment
againwiththeleftear‐cover/panel.Iftheheadphonesarenotusedforalonger
periodoftime,pleaseremovethebatteriestopreventdamageincaseofbatteryleakage.

2.2‐AdjustingtheHeadband

Inordertoachievegoodtransmissionqualityandnoisecanceling,aswellasbestpossiblecomfort,
the
headbandshouldbeadjustedtoproperlyfityourhead.Youcanadjusttheheadbandusingthesnap‐1n
lockingmechanism. 

2.3‐ConnectingtheHeadphones

Connecttheheadphones viathesuppliedaudiocabletothesoundsource.Ifnecessary,usethe6.3mm
jackadapterorthe3.5mmdouble
jackadapterforthein‐flightentertainmentonanairplane.






