Function Description:

The Cool Fan 52 is a ceiling fan designed for indoor use. Its primary function is to circulate air, providing cooling in summer and distributing warm air in winter. It also features an integrated light. The fan is operated via a remote control.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Model Numbers: 92648, 92649, 92650, 92651, 92652
  • Power Supply: 220-240 V, 50 Hz
  • Rated Wattage: 60 W
  • Bulb Rating: E14, 2x40W Max (bulbs not included)
  • Light Type: 2xE14, MAX40W
  • Protection Class: I
  • IP Number: IPX0
  • Ambient Operating Temperature: 25 °C
  • Minimum Installation Height: Blades must be more than 2.3 m above the floor.
  • Power Supply Wire Requirement: 1.5 sq mm wire
  • Maximum Fan Flow Rate (F): 120.30 m³/min
  • Fan Power Input (P): 42.4 W
  • Service Value (SV): 2.84 (m³/min)/W
  • Standby Power Consumption (PSB): 0.23 W
  • Seasonal Electricity Consumption (Q): 13.83 kWh/a
  • Fan Sound Power Level (LWA): 44.7 dB(A)
  • Maximum Air Velocity (C): 1.78 m/seg

Usage Features:

  • Remote Control Operation: The fan is controlled by a remote, allowing users to adjust fan speed and turn the light on/off.
  • Adjustable Fan Speeds: The remote control offers multiple speed settings: low, medium, and high, in addition to an OFF setting for the fan.
  • Light Control: A dedicated button on the remote turns the light ON/OFF.
  • Reversible Slide Switch (Seasonal Operation):
    • Left/Up (Summer Mode): Makes the air movement directly from the ceiling for cooling.
    • Right/Down (Winter Mode): Circulates warm air generated by a heater to the floor. It is crucial to stop the fan blades by turning off the fan before pushing the reversible slide switch.
  • Safety Precautions during Operation:
    • Do not place your arm or any other object in the path of the blades when the fan is operating.
    • Maintain a minimum distance between the lamp and any inflammable material (curtains, wall, etc.).

Installation Process:

  1. Install the mounting bracket using screws as shown in Fig. 1.
  2. Remove the two screws from the rectangular cover on the motor housing and remove the cover (Fig. 2).
  3. Insert the blades through the slots around the motor (Fig. 3).
  4. Align each blade with the three holes and secure it with three screws through the opening. Tighten all blade screws evenly and ensure the rectangular cover is secured by screws (Fig. 4).
  5. Make sure the wiring connection is done correctly using quick plugs. Consult a qualified electrician if unsure.
    • Black + Brown wire: "L" (Live)
    • Blue wire: "N" (Neutral)
    • Green & yellow wire: Earth wire (must be longer than Live and Neutral wires).
  6. Hang the fan and assemble the mounting bracket with the motor set using four side screws (Fig. 6).
  7. Insert the lens into the receiver and connect the supply wires of the receiver (Fig. 7).
  8. Install the bulb (not included) (Fig. 8).
  9. Install the glass (Fig. 9).
  10. The fan installation is now complete (Fig. 10).
    • A wiring diagram is provided, showing connections for Yellow/Green (Ground), Blue (Neutral), Brown (Live), and Black (Motor/Light).
    • If the fan or light kit is partially pre-assembled, some assembly steps can be skipped.

Maintenance Features:

  • Disconnect from Mains: Always disconnect the power from the electrical supply before conducting any cleaning or maintenance work.
  • Cool-Down Period: Wait until the lamp cools down before handling.
  • Cleaning:
    • Do not use a wet sponge to clean the appliance.
    • Avoid abrasive products, solvents, detergents, or any other liquid to clean the fan or lamp.
    • Ensure the power is off when cleaning the fan.
    • Do not clean the motor, switch housing, or other electrical parts of the fan with water to prevent short circuits.
  • Troubleshooting (Wobble Problem):
    • Dynamic Blade Balancing Kit: If wobble persists after initial checks, a dynamic balancing kit can be used.
    • Procedure for Balancing:
      1. Turn the fan on to high speed to identify the greatest wobble.
      2. Turn off the fan. Place the balance clip halfway between the blade holder and the rear edge of one blade.
      3. Turn the fan on to check for improvement or worsening of wobble.
      4. Repeat by moving the clip to other blades to find the most improved blade.
      5. Move the clip inward and outward on the improved blade to find the position that gives the most improvement.
      6. Remove the clip and install a balancing weight to the top of the blade along the centerline near the identified point.
      7. Caution: Stay clear of blades if the clip is not secured to prevent injury.
