in water or any other liquid.
To ensure the first cup of coffee tastes excellent, you should prime the coffee maker as follows:
1. Add water into the water tank, the water level should not exceed the “MAX” mark in the tank.
Then replace the tank cover.
Note: the appliance is supplied with a detachable tank for easy cleaning. You can fill the
tank with water first, and then replace the tank in the machine.
2. Insert the filter into the portafilter (do not put coffee in the filter). Be sure to align the edge
notch on the filter and portafilter to insert (or remove) the filter, then rotate the filter a little so
it won’t come out of the portafilter.
3. Install the portafilter into the appliance from the “unlock” position (the 3 tabs on the
portafilter must align with the notches in the group head), then turn it counterclockwise until it
locks into the “lock” position .
4. Place a large container on the drip tray. Make sure the steam control
knob is in the OFF position (the triangle mark on the knob points to “O”).
5. Connect the appliance to power supply. Press the On/Off button once,
the power indicator will flash blue.
6. Press the Coffee button , the pump will start to pump water. When
there is water flowing out, close the pump by pressing the Coffee button.
Press the Coffee button, hot water will flow out.
7. After water does not drop out any more, discard the water in the
