2.3 SAFETY RULES FOR MAINTENANCE
All maintenance procedures must be carried out when the vehicle is not running and is securely placed on its centre-
stand.
During each maintenance phase, all users must be wearing the required safety equipment at all times (gloves, glas-
ses, work clothes).
Use only suitable and good-quality tools for your maintenance operations.
Always keep the area used for maintenance clean and dry, paying particular attention in ensuring that any oil stains
are removed.
Never insert limbs or fingers inside any of the uncovered openings of the vehicle.
Do not use fuel or flammable solvents as detergents, but always use non flammable and non-toxic solvents.
Minimize the use of compressed air (2 bar max.) and wear safety goggles with side protections.
Never use open flames for illumination when carrying out maintenance checks.
After each maintenance procedure or adjustment, make sure that no tools or foreign objects have been left between the
moving parts of the vehicle in order to avoid damage to the vehicle and/or injury to people.
