4.21 CENTRE STAND
Push the stand’s bracket «1» downwards with your foot, whilst easing
the vehicle backwards until it rests safely onto its centre stand.
Do not sit on the vehicle when it is resting in
its centre stand.
Always park on a firm, level surface to pre-
vent the vehicle from falling.
Do not lean the vehicle against walls or road signs.

4.22 EXHAUST SYSTEM
This vehicle’s exhaust system is fitted with a catalytic converter «2».
Owners are warned that the law may prohibit:
• The removal or rendering inoperative by any person other than for
purposes of maintenance, repair or replacement, of any device or
element of design incorporated into any new vehicle for the purpose
of noise and emission control and,
• The use of the vehicle after such device or element of design has
been removed or rendered inoperative by any person.
Inspect your vehicle’s exhaust system regularly in order to ensure that
is functioning correctly and that it shows no sign of rust or cracks/ holes.
Please contact an authorised service centre in the event that the noise
level or smoke produced by the exhaust increase.
Tampering with the Exhaust Sy-
stem is strictly Prohibited.
