4.23 REAR VIEW MIRRORS
To fit the rear view mirror, slide into place and tighten and tighten the nut
as shown in the figure.
Once secured, adjust the mirror so that it suits your riding position.
4.24 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
In order to offer the most comfortable and seamless riding experience,
this vehicle has been fitted with an automatic transmission, designed
with performance and fuel economy in mind. The transmission consists
of an automatic centrifugal dry clutch, a rubber V-belt and an automatic
variable pulley system
In the event of a hill start, or when queuing up in traffic
or at traffic lights, you must use the brakes to hold the
vehicle while letting the engine run at idle.
Using the engine to hold the vehicle will cause the clutch
to overheat resulting in an early wear of its components.
It is highly recommended that you avoid riding your vehicle in a way that
will stress the clutch components over long periods of time and that will
cause them to overheat, e.g. riding uphill on a steep incline with a full
load, or attempting a hill start with a passenger on a road with a 25%
slope or higher. In case of clutch overheating, allow the clutch to cool
down for a few minutes with the engine running at idle.
