In parking areas, pay particular attention that the silencer does come into contact with
flammable material or body parts. The high temperature can cause fires and/or burns.
To prevent damage, do not rev up the engine when cold. To safeguard the integrity of the engine and its
duration lasting performance, avoid riding at high revs for long periods of time.
Do not suddenly switch off the vehicle after riding for a long time at the maximum speed; let it run at
idle for a few seconds.
If you are starting your vehicle for the first time after a long period of inactivity, follow the operations described under the
section «07 - Vehicle Maintenance/Vehicle Storage»
Exhaust gases are highly toxic; do not start the engine indoors or in poorly ventilated areas.
Do not attempt to start the vehicle with throttle fully opened. This could lead to a loss of control of the
vehicle resulting in possible injuries and damage.
