If your Qualcast Chainsaw won’t start or starts but won't run, several factors could be at play. First, ensure you're following the correct starting procedures as outlined in the user guide or the checklist on page 20. Other potential causes include an incorrect carburetor mixture adjustment setting (in this case you should have carburetor adjusted by an authorised service centre), a fouled spark plug (you should clean/gap or replace plug), a blocked fuel filter (you should replace fuel filter), or the chain brake being engaged (you should put chain brake in off position).
