6.2 CLEANING
Before carrying out cleaning always disconnect the plug
from the socket. Remove the coffee bean container (when it
is empty) by turning it to the left. The container can be
washed (not in a dishwasher). However, it needs to be
completely dry before refitting it. Remove any residual
coffee powder from the three catch grooves on the head of
the mechanism. Once the container is removed the head of
the mechanism and graduated ring can also be removed,
by turning to the left, anti-clockwise, for around 6 turns
(Fig. 4). Now you can clean any grinding residue, using a
clean dry brush, and possibly a toothpick (never use metal
objects) Never use water to clean any of the parts related
to the motor.
7. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
If the grinder is not going to be used for a long time,
remove the plug from the socket, keep it away from
atmospheric agents (dust, dirt, etc.) storing it in a safe
place out of the reach of children. If you decide not to use
the appliance any longer, it is advisable to make it
unusable by cutting the power supply cord after
unplugging it. If possible store the product in its original
packaging.
