Expansion valve adjustment (pump pressure)
Beneath the front panel, near the water/steam nozzle, there is an adjustable valve
(1) which allows the pressure of the coffee delivery pump to be adjusted.
To adjust the pressure, do the following:
x Fill the filter holder with the correct grade and quantity of ground coffee.
x Reattach the filter holder and start coffee delivery.
x Wait for the pressure gauge to display a stable pressure value and turn the
adjustable knob on the valve.
x Turn in a clockwise direction to lower the pressure in the circuit and
anticlockwise to increase the pressure in the circuit.
It is recommended to adjust the pressure in the circuit between 9 and 10 bar.
