STAND-OFF ASSEMBLY
This is an anti-vibration assembly used to isolate fuel lines, throttle cables, choke cables, push/pull
control cables, brake cables, and some electrical cables/wires throughout the aircraft. The exact
locations and numbers used are detailed in the relevant assembly sequence. All tie wraps and fuel
lines must be replaced in accordance with the progressive maintenance schedules.
1. Refer to Figure 1-10. A single stand-off in a typical application is shown. Cut a 1/2" (13 mm)
piece of Fuel Line (1). Thread a Nylon Tie Wrap (2) around a typical part (3), through the Line,
and around the airframe tube (4) as illustrated. Pull tight, cut off the excess and touch the cut
end with a hot knife to remove the sharp edge. Ensure the hot knife does not contact the fuel
lines, cables, or electrical wires.
2. Refer to Figure 1-11. A multiple stand-off in a typical application is shown. Fabricate the multiple
stand-off assembly in a similar manner to the procedure described above.
