DRUM BRAKES 2/3
The drum brake is mounted in the plate. Consi-
dering which Panther you have, follow descrip-
tion 1 or 2.
1. To mount the drum brake on a Panther with
camber, follow the drawing. To clean the
thread you may want to use a 5 mm tape
tap.
2. The procedure on a Panther with wedges to
eliminate camber is the same as above. The
only difference is that you have to place a
small distance piece between the bar and the
fittings.
3. The holder is mounted in the top hole on the
plate. Fasten with a washer and a nut.
How to mount wedges to eliminate camber:
Place the wedges on both sides of the plate as
illustrated (A). Then mount either QR-axle (B) or
drumbrake (2) as the case may be.
