Install Batteries
Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included),
matching the polarity symbols (+ and -)
inside the battery compartment.
Battery Notes
• Dispose of used batteries promptly and
properly. Do not burn or bury them.
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size
and type.
• Replace batteries when they are low. Do not
mix old and new batteries or batteries of
dierent types, capacities, or chemistries.
• If you do not plan to use your radio for a long
period of time, remove the batteries. Batteries
can leak chemicals that can damage electronic
parts.
• For best results, we recommend RadioShack
alkaline batteries.
