Overview

The Raex YR2116 is a 7-channel transmitter designed for controlling various devices, primarily motors for window coverings like curtains and blinds. It operates wirelessly and offers a range of functionalities for precise control and customization.

Technical Specifications

  • Model: YR2116
  • Transmission Range: 30 meters
  • Transmission Frequency: 433.92MHz ± 75KHz
  • Modulation Mode: ASK
  • Battery: CR2032 × 1PC
  • Remote Channels: 7 channels

Function Description

The transmitter features several buttons for different commands and settings:

  • [Up], [Stop], [Down] Buttons: These buttons are used to transmit commands to open, stop, and close the selected channel's device, respectively.
  • [Channel Selection] Button: This button allows users to scroll through and select one of the seven available channels. Each press advances to the next channel, and the relevant LED illuminates to indicate the selected number. Channel 7 is indicated by all 6 LEDs illuminating simultaneously and is often used as a group channel to control multiple motors at once.
  • [Programming Button]: Located on the rear of the transmitter, this button is crucial for programming the transmitter to a motor and for setting limits.
  • [Function 1] & [Function 2] Buttons: These serve as intermediate stop functions, useful for partially opening or closing curtains, tilting venetian blinds, or other systems with similar partial control needs. Their specific functionality may vary depending on the controlled device.

Usage Features

Channel Selection

The YR2116 supports 7 channels. The channel indication LEDs show the currently selected channel. For example, motors 1 to 6 can be assigned to channels 1 to 6 individually, and then all 6 can also be assigned to channel 7 to be controlled as a group.

Remote Control Setting

Before using the remote control, it must be linked to the device. This involves:

  1. Putting the device in setting mode: Press the setting button on the motor; its LED will illuminate.
  2. Choosing a channel: Select the desired channel on the transmitter using the Channel Selection button.
  3. Confirming channel: Press the programming button on the back of the transmitter until the motor's LED flashes.
  4. Storing channel: Press the setting button on the motor head again; the LED will go out, and the channel is set.

Deleting Transmitters from the Device

If a remote channel needs to be deleted:

  1. Put the device in setting mode: Press the setting button on the motor; its LED will illuminate.
  2. Delete transmitters: Press the setting button again for 7 seconds until the LED goes out. This action deletes all transmitters and channels that were previously linked to the motor.

Reverse Motor Direction

If the motor's running direction needs to be altered:

  1. Press the setting button on the motor; its LED will illuminate.
  2. Simultaneously press the Channel Selection and Stop buttons on the transmitter for 3 seconds to transmit the reversing signal.
  3. The motor's LED will flash to acknowledge the request.
  4. Press the setting button on the motor again, and the LED will go out, confirming the direction change.

Close Limit Setting

This feature allows users to set the upper and lower limits for the motor's movement:

  1. Initiate limit setting: Press the programming button and the Up button simultaneously. The Up button should be pressed gently. The motor's LED will illuminate and shunt to acknowledge.
  2. Select desired position: Gently press the Up and Down buttons to move the device to the desired upper or lower limit. Functions 1 and 2 buttons can be used to "inch" the motor for fine adjustments.
  3. Store limit: Press the programming button on the rear of the transmitter or the setting button on the motor to store the set limit.

Limit Switch Deleting

To delete all previously set limits:

  1. Press the programming button and the Stop button simultaneously.
  2. The motor's LED will briefly illuminate and then shunt to acknowledge that all limits have been deleted.

Touch Control On/Off (Curtains Only)

For curtain motors, the touch control facility can be enabled or disabled:

  • To turn On: Press the Stop and Up buttons simultaneously.
  • To turn Off: Press the Stop and Down buttons simultaneously.

Combination Functions

The transmitter supports combination button presses for specific functions. A hollow arrow symbol indicates a long press, while a solid arrow symbol indicates a short/gentle press. These functions are effective on receivers with corresponding capabilities. It's important to ensure the transmitter is on the required channel, and settings may vary between controlled devices.

Maintenance Features

Warranty

The product comes with a one-year warranty from the date of invoice. This warranty covers manufacturing defects but excludes damage caused by misuse or disassembly.
