dispenser. Between the washing and the rinsing cycle the appliance makes a dripping pause.
When the cycle is finished, the lamp (D) turns off.
· On demand, it is available a device called “THERMOLOCK”, which lengthens the washing
cycle until when the water in the boiler achieves the pre-set right temperature.
· In order to start the following cycle, repeat all the operations, considering that the detergent has
to be added every 3 – 4 washing cycles.
· To switch off the appliance, make sure that it has finished its working cycle and then turn the
main switch (A) into the position (0). This operation is shown by the turning off of the lamp (B).
MODELS WITH BUILT-IN DRAIN PUMP
In the versions with built-in drain pump, the drain pump works under the following conditions.
· When the filling solenoid valve is working. This is the normal working condition of the drain
pump, which drains the exceeding water in the tank through an overflow pipe during the water
filling or the rinsing phase.
· When the water in the tank is completely drained. Check that the appliance has finished the
washing cycle (the lamp (D) is off) and remove the overflow pipe. Keep the hood lifted; then
turn the main switch (A) anticlockwise into the position (5). When the water in the tank is
completely drained, turn the main switch (A) clockwise in the previous position.
SAFETY SYSTEMS
· The lifting of the hood stops every operation of the appliance, except for the heating of the water
in the boiler and in the tank. The lowering of the hood re-starts any interrupted operation.
· The level switch checks the water level in the tank automatically and it enables the appliance to
work only when the heating elements are below the water level both in the boiler and in the
tank.
· The washing pump is provided with a thermal control, which stops its working in case of
thermal overload.
· An overflow pipe drains the exceeding water that has been brought in during the rinsing cycle
and it enables a continuous change of water in the tank. It also avoids the water overflowing in
case of bad working of the pressure switch.
It is highly recommended to turn off the tap of filling water when the appliance is not working.
MAINTENANCE
Before any cleaning or performing any maintenance always disconnect the appliance from the
power supply.
DRAINING AND CLEANING
At the end of the working day it is necessary to carry out the following operations.
· Drain the water from the tank by removing the overflow pipe from its place. (For the models
with built-in drain pump follow also the instructions in the MODELS WITH DRAIN PUMP
section).
· Switch off the appliance, first turning the main switch (A) into position (0) and then the main
switch on the wall.
· Clean the internal part of the tank, removing the solids on its bottom.
· Check the openings of the washing arms carefully and clean them if they are obstructed.
