What to do if my Rauland Amplifier does not operate?

First, ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a functioning outlet. Next, carefully inspect the input and output lines, looking for any obvious shorts or broken connections, both within the lines themselves and between the lines, the chassis, or surrounding equipment. If these steps don't resolve the issue, replace the fuse. If the problem persists, unplug the unit.

Check that all input and output connections are properly made and securely fastened. You may also want to turn the volume down to see if the speakers are being overdriven.

What to do if the 28-VDC output cycles off and on, or remains off on my Rauland Amplifier?

This issue may be due to a tripped CB1 (3.15 Amps) or CB2 (1.6 Amps) circuit breaker. CB2 automatically resets after tripping due to excessive DC current. If cycling continues, check for shorts in the connections. To manually reset CB1, use a small screwdriver through the access hole in the front cover (upper left corner of the DAX60, or lower left corner of the DAX120). If the problem persists after checking the load and connections, one of the breakers may be defective. Disconnect the load.
