Remember: You need either a digital TV converter box or a
TV with a digital tuner to receive digital channels.
Important: Some TVs have separate antenna inputs for
analog and digital signals. If you’re connecting directly to
this kind of TV, make sure you use the digital antenna input.
Plug in the amplifier’s power cord to a
power outlet or surge protector.
Scan for channels on your digital converter
box or digital-ready TV—you should be
getting some new ones!

• Is the antenna sitting on a metal surface (like a metal stand)?
Moveittoanon-metalsurface(metalinterfereswith
reception).Then,re-scanforchannels(seestep4).
• Try the antenna in a different position.
Mostofthetime,theantennaworksbestlyingdown.But
dependingonyourreceptionenvironment,itmightworkbest
foryoustandingorhangingonthewall.Whenyou’vefound
thebestposition,re-scanforchannels(seestep4).
• Tryusingtheantennawithouttheamplier.
Connecttheantennadirectlytoyourdigitalconverterboxor
digital-readyTV.Thenre-scanforchannels(seestep4).Ifyour
signalisgoodenoughtogetthechannelsyouwantwithoutthe
amplier,theampliermightactuallybegettingintheway.
• Movetheantennaclosetoawindow.

makeitmoredifculttogetgoodreception.Re-scanfor

• Position the antenna as high as possible. 
