LOADING AND PLAYING CDS
1. Slide the FUNCTION control to CD.
2. Press the PUSH OPEN button to open the CD door.
3, Place a CD into the compartment with the label side up and close the CD door.
4. Press PLAYoPAUSE HI to begin play.
5. Use the TRACK I_Hland I_1_1buttons to choose a track.
6. Press STOP • to stop disc play.
PAUSING DISC PLAY
To temporarily stop playing a CD, press PLAYePAUSE I_ ,the track number will flash.
Press PLAYePAUSE I_1 again to resume play.
SKI P/SEARCH TRACKS
During disc play, or in the Pause or Stop modes, you can skip forward or backward to the
beginning of any selection on the disc by using the SKIP/SEARCH I_1 and I_1 buttons.
Momentarily press SKIP/SEARCH i_ or _u to move to the beginning of a track on the CD. To
switch to another track on the CD, repeatedly press and release the buttons.
During disc play, press and hold SKIP/SEARCH m_or_mto speed forward or backward to any
point on the CD. The disc material will be audible, allowing you to scan for a favorite segment or
skip a segment. Release the button and normal play resumes.
SHUFFLE PLAY
Press SHUFFLE once to play CD in random mode, press again to cancel.
REPEATING PLAY
The REPEAT button allows you to repeat one track or all tracks while playing a CD. To scroll
through the choices {REPEAT ONE, REPEAT ALL, and OFF), continually press the REPEAT button
and check the display to see which choice you've selected.
