1. Flomove the battery compartment

2. F`omove and dispose of any old
non-rechargeable batteries if neces-
\i Sary. Then, install either eight fresh
non-rechargeable batteries and the
two supplied dummy batteries or ten
nickel€admium batteries.
Cautions:
• Be sure to install the batteries accord-
ing to the polarity symbols ( + and -)
marked on the batteries installation
label. Improper installation (incorrect
polarity) might damage the walkie-
talkie.

Never mix new and old batteries in the
walkie.talkie.
• Never mix rechargeabl© and non-
rechargeable batteries.
