Overview

The Red Kite Push Me Savanna i is a versatile travel system designed to adapt to a child's growth from newborn to toddler. It functions as a carry cot, a stroller, and a car seat carrier, offering multiple modes of transport.

Function Description:

  • Carry Cot Mode: This mode is suitable for newborns and infants who cannot sit up unaided, roll over, or push themselves up on their hands and knees. It provides a flat, horizontal sleeping or resting position, which is recommended for newborns. The maximum weight capacity for this mode is 9kg. The harness is typically removed in this mode for newborn use.
  • Stroller Mode: Intended for children from 6 months up to 22kg or 4 years, whichever comes first. In this mode, the seat unit is raised, and the harness is connected. The stroller offers adjustable seating positions, including a fully reclined position advisable for newborns if used in stroller mode. It features both fixed and swivel front wheels for maneuverability.
  • Car Seat Mode: This mode allows for the attachment of a compatible car seat (R129 Universal, for infants up to 13kg, category 40-85cm) to the pushchair frame using adaptors. This provides a convenient way to transfer a sleeping infant from the car to the pushchair without disturbance.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning:
    • Fabric covers and trims can be spot washed using mild detergent and warm water. Allow to dry in a ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
    • Avoid leaving the stroller in direct sunlight for prolonged periods to prevent fabric fading.
    • Do not dry clean, machine wash, or tumble dry.
    • Metal parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth, then wiped dry.
    • Plastic parts can be cleaned with mild soap and water solution, then wiped dry.
  • Lubrication: Maintain the stroller by lubricating all metal moving parts with a silicone-based spray. Do not use heavy machine oil or grease as this can attract dirt or grit.
  • Inspection: Regularly check for loose or broken parts, sharp edges, and damaged components. Replace any damaged parts immediately. Inspect nuts and bolts regularly to ensure none have worked loose. Tighten as necessary.
  • Replacement Parts: Only use replacement parts and accessories that have been approved by the manufacturer. Failure to do so may invalidate the warranty.
  • Raincover Care: The product is supplied with one raincover for Stroller, Carry Cot, and Car seat modes. Place the raincover over the unit and secure with Velcro. Allow the raincover to dry before folding and storing in the basket to prevent mould and mildew. A raincover is not supplied for the car seat.
  • Padded Liners: Padded liners are supplied with the seat unit and car seat. They can be removed by threading the harness through the slots in the liner.
  • Shoulder Strap Height: The height of the shoulder straps can be adjusted by feeding the harness through the cut-out holes located on the seat unit.
