The Red Kite Push Me Pacei is a versatile travel system designed for infants and young children, offering multiple modes of use including pram, stroller, and infant carrier. This instruction leaflet provides essential information for assembly, operation, and maintenance, ensuring safe and correct usage.
Function Description:
The Push Me Pacei system adapts to the child's growth and needs, transitioning from a pram for newborns to a stroller for older infants and toddlers, and integrating with an infant car seat for travel.
- Pram Mode (Carry Cot Mode): Suitable for newborns who cannot sit up unaided, roll over, or push themselves up on their hands and knees. This mode provides a flat, comfortable sleeping surface. The maximum weight for this mode is 9kg.
- Stroller Mode: Intended for children from 6 months up to 22kg or 4 years, whichever comes first. The seat unit can be adjusted to different recline positions and can be reversed to face either the parent or the world.
- Infant Carrier Mode (Rear Facing Infant Carrier): The included infant car seat (R129 Universal) is designed for infants up to 13kg, in the category of 40 – 85 cm. It can be attached to the stroller chassis, forming a travel system. An Isofix Base is available separately for secure installation in a vehicle.

Usage Features:
The Push Me Pacei offers a range of features designed for convenience and safety:
- Frame Opening and Folding: The frame opens by releasing a lock clip and lifting the handle until it locks in place. Folding involves setting wheel locks to 'swivel', rotating the seat unit forward, lowering the handle, pressing primary folding buttons, and pulling triggers to engage the locking hook.
- Wheel Attachment and Removal: Front wheels push upwards into holders until they click, and are removed by pressing a top button. Rear wheels insert into the brake unit until they click, and are removed by pressing a button on the bottom of the brake unit.
- Brakes: A foot pedal engages or releases the brakes. It is crucial to apply all brakes whenever the stroller is parked.
- Front Wheel Selection: A button allows selection between fixed and swivel front wheels. Fixed wheels are recommended for uneven terrain, while swivel wheels offer greater maneuverability.
- Adjustable Handle Height: The handle height can be adjusted to one of three positions by pressing a button on the top of the handle.
- Adjustable Footrest: Buttons on both sides of the frame allow adjustment of the footrest.
- Seat Unit Reversal and Recline: The seat unit can be removed from the frame by pressing buttons on the adaptors, turned 180 degrees to face either direction, and reattached. The seat angle can be adjusted using a button on the back of the frame and a recline strap.
- Harness System: A 5-point harness ensures the child's safety. It attaches by sliding components together and pressing a button in the crotch strap. Waist and shoulder straps are adjustable for a snug fit. The crotch strap must always be used in combination with the waist belt. In Pram Mode, harness straps can be removed by undoing zips and rotating buckles.
- Bumper Bar: The bumper bar clicks into recesses on the seat frame and is removed by pressing side buttons and pulling outwards.
- Infant Carrier Attachment: Adaptors are installed onto the pushchair frame until they click. The car seat is then lowered onto the adaptors and pressed down until it clicks into place. To remove the car seat, release buttons on the adaptors and lift the car seat upwards. The adaptors can remain on the car seat if desired.
- Canopy: Provides shade and protection for the child.
- Accessories: Includes a raincover (not shown) and apron (not shown). A raincover is not supplied for the car seat. Padded liners are supplied with the seat unit and car seat and can be removed for cleaning.
- Safety Warnings: Emphasizes never leaving the child unattended, keeping children away during unfolding/folding, always using the restraint system, and ensuring all locking devices and attachment devices are correctly engaged. It also warns against running or skating with the product and notes that any load on the handle affects stability.
Maintenance Features:
Proper care and maintenance are essential for the longevity and safety of the stroller:
- Fabric Covers and Trims: Spot wash with mild detergent and warm water, then air dry in a ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Avoid dry cleaning, machine washing, or tumble drying.
- Metal Parts: Clean with a damp cloth and wipe dry. Lubricate all metal moving parts with a silicone-based spray; avoid heavy machine oil or grease.
- Plastic Parts: Clean with mild soap and water solution, then wipe dry.
- Storage: Store in a dry, ventilated area. Do not fold when wet. When storing in a car, do not place other items on top.
- Inspections: Regularly check for loose or broken parts, sharp edges, and ensure all nuts and bolts are tightened. Inspect joints and the harness.
- Replacement Parts: Only use manufacturer-approved replacement parts and accessories to maintain warranty validity and safety.
- Raincover Care: Allow the raincover to dry before folding and storing to prevent mold and mildew.
