Function Description:

The device is primarily a 47-inch fire pit designed for outdoor use, featuring a BBQ grate for cooking. It allows users to enjoy a fire while also having the option to grill food. The fire pit is intended for use with dry, seasoned hardwood and is not suitable for commercial use or for heating indoor spaces.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Size: 47 inches in diameter.
  • Fuel Type: Dry, seasoned hardwood only.
  • Safety Distance: Must be placed no closer than 24 inches from walls during operation.
  • Components: Includes a fire bowl, cooking grate, swing handle, lift handle, L-pin, table pane, support ring sections, and legs. Hardware includes M6 x 14 bolts, M6 x 20 bolts, M6 nuts, and wing bolts.
  • Tools Required for Assembly: Phillips Head Screwdriver and Adjustable Open End Wrench.

Usage Features:

  • Outdoor Use Only: This fire pit is strictly for outdoor use and should not be used in a building, garage, or any other enclosed area.
  • BBQ Grate: Equipped with a cooking grate (C) and a cooking grate pole (C2) for grilling. The cooking grate can be inserted into the table opening, and an L-pin (D) secures it.
  • Adjustable Grate: The cooking grate can be attached to a swing handle (A) and a lift handle (B), allowing for adjustment or removal.
  • Fuel Management: Only dry, seasoned hardwood should be used. Users are advised to place a layer of dry kindling or a natural fire-starter onto the center of the fire bowl, followed by a layer of dry seasoned hardwood that is no more than 3/4 the length of the bowl diameter.
  • Airflow Management: Coals and logs can be shifted with a long-handled fire pit tool to allow additional airflow.
  • Extinguishing: The fire should be allowed to burn itself out. Water should NOT be used to extinguish the fire as it can be dangerous and damage the fire pit.
  • Safety Precautions:
    • DO NOT use gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, lighter fluid, or alcohol to relight or enhance an existing fire.
    • DO NOT place hot fire pit tools onto combustible surfaces such as grass, wooden decks, or furniture.
    • DO NOT use in windy conditions.
    • DO NOT use in or on boats or recreational vehicles.
    • DO NOT use near automobiles, trucks, vans, or recreational vehicles.
    • DO NOT use in an explosive atmosphere.
    • Keep outdoor areas clean and free from combustible materials, gasoline, and other flammable liquids.
    • DO NOT use under an overhead or near any unprotected combustible constructions.
    • Avoid using near or under overhanging trees and shrubs.
    • Always use this fire pit on a hard, non-combustible surface such as concrete, rock, or stone.
    • An asphalt or blacktop surface may not be acceptable for this purpose.
    • DO NOT use on wooden decks.
    • Always empty this fire pit before each use.
    • DO NOT wear flammable or loose clothing when operating this fire pit.
    • Keep all electrical cords away from a hot fire pit.
    • All surfaces of this fire pit are hot when in operation. Wear protective gear (potholders, gloves, BBQ mittens, etc.).
    • Never touch ashes to start or coals to see if they are hot.
    • DO NOT leave a lit fire pit unattended, especially around children and pets.
    • DO NOT attempt to move or store this fire pit until ashes and coals are completely extinguished.
    • DO NOT remove ashes or coals until they are completely and extinguished.
    • Use heat-resistant gloves or hot pads when contacting handles.
    • Use long, sturdy fire pit tools when adding or moving logs.
    • DO NOT place wood directly into the bottom of the fire pit. Place wood only on the center of the fire bowl.
    • DO NOT overload the fire pit. If any portion of the bowl of this fire pit is glowing red, it is overloaded.
    • DO NOT lean over this fire pit when lighting or when in use.
    • Avoid breathing smoke from the fire and avoid getting it into your eyes.

Maintenance Features:

  • Regular Inspection: The fire pit should be inspected and cleaned on a regular basis to ensure product safety and longer product life.
  • Post-Use Inspection: After the fire is completely out and cool to the touch, check components for any signs of damage or rust. If damage is detected, do NOT operate until repairs are executed.
  • Cleaning:
    • DO NOT clean the fire pit until it is completely out and cool to the touch.
    • DO NOT use oven cleaner or abrasive cleaners as they will damage the product.
    • DO NOT clean any part of this fire pit in a self-cleaning oven.
    • Wipe exterior surfaces with a mild dishwashing detergent or baking soda.
    • For stubborn surfaces, use a citrus-based degreaser and a nylon scrubbing brush.
    • Rinse and clean with water.
    • Remove built-up creosote from components with a chimney cleaning product.
  • Storage: After a period of storage or non-use, check for signs of damage and creosote buildup. Do NOT operate until necessary repairs and/or cleanup are executed.
  • Discoloration: A slight discoloration of the finish may occur after repeated use.

Warranty Information:

The product is manufactured to high standards of quality and workmanship. It comes with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in material and workmanship. A replacement for any defective part will be supplied free of charge. Defects or damage caused by the use of other than genuine parts are not covered. The warranty is valid for the original consumer purchaser only and excludes industrial, commercial, or business use. It does not cover product damage due to shipment or failure resulting from alteration, product abuse, product misuse, or work performed by a contractor or service company. The manufacturer is not responsible for labor charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair, or replacement, nor for incidental or consequential damage.
