This document describes the RedKite Dreamer Bedside Crib, a versatile sleeping solution for infants, functioning as both a bassinette/travel cot and a co-sleeper.
Function Description:
The RedKite Dreamer Bedside Crib is designed to provide a safe and comfortable sleeping environment for babies from birth up to approximately 4 months, or until they can pull themselves up or sit unaided. It can be used as a standalone bassinette/travel cot or as a co-sleeper attached to an adult bed.
As a bassinette/travel cot, it offers a secure space for the baby to sleep independently. The lowest mattress position is recommended for safety, especially once the baby can support its own weight or sit up. The crib is designed for convenient limited use and is not intended to replace a cot on a long-term basis.
In co-sleeper mode, the crib attaches to the adult bed, allowing the baby to sleep close to the parents while maintaining a separate sleeping surface. This mode features a drop-side function that can be lowered to align with the adult mattress. The attachment system, consisting of fixing belts and an anchor plate, ensures the crib is securely fastened to the adult bed, preventing gaps and movement.
