If your Reflex Water Heater's domestic hot water has adverse odors and dark coloring, it's likely due to the formation of hydrogen sulfide by sulfate-reducing bacteria in water with low oxygen levels. To resolve this: * Clean the storage vessel. * Replace the sacrificial anode. * Maintain a heating temperature above 60°C. * Consider replacing the magnesium sacrificial anode with an impressed current anode.
