Note that select components shown above may be optional and or may not be applicable to your vessel.
Shown above is a typical LX6 helm component
layout. The key switch circuit is protected by a 20
amp breaker located above the key switch. The
breaker is covered with a water resistant rubber
boot. Should this breaker “trip” ignition for starting
the engine will be interrupted. Always fi nd the root
cause of the problem before resetting the breaker.
Note that the Garmin plotter uses mini SD cards
in the card reader slots on each plotter. The LED
panel perimeter is lighted “blue” for night helm vis-
ibility.
Familiarize yourself with the switch panel compo-
nents and all the functions of the helm controls be-
fore starting a cruise. Safety fi rst!
