Controls-Typical
Check the helm
remote control box
and make sure there
is no roughness or
tightness when
shifting. Also, check
to make sure the
control box hardware
is tightly secured. The
shifting is done by a process called “fly by wire”
Being the engines use electronics to shift it should
be effortless. An application of silicone spray on the
handles will help fight any corrosion. Remember
there are no actual mechanical shift and throttle
control cables on your vessel.
There is a friction control which may be altered to
personal needs. To adjust the friction control on side
mount remote controls it needs to be preformed
by an authorized dealer. Contact your closest
Regal dealer for further assistance or a marine
professional.
