High heat and high speed settings are recommended. Starting with lower sections, the round brush is used to grip the hair underneath, and the smoothing nozzle is run down the hair until it's 100% dry. Angling the nozzle downwards helps minimize frizz and flyaways. The cool shot button can be used again to set the style.
For fast drying, the high heat and high speed functions are ideal. To enhance natural curls and waves, the diffuser attachment is used. Users can turn their head upside down and gently place hair into the diffuser bowl, slightly rotating the dryer as they style. For adding volume at the roots, the head should remain upright, and the diffuser placed against the top of the head. Gently rotating the hairdryer allows the diffuser fingers to massage the scalp, taking care not to burn it. This should be done on a medium heat/low speed setting. It's important not to use the diffuser on the highest heat setting.
