  If your Remington Heater won't operate, or the motor runs briefly and the lamp flickers displaying “E1”, start by ensuring the fuel tank has fresh kerosene. Then, verify and adjust the pump pressure if needed. Next, inspect the spark plug for corrosion or incorrect gap, cleaning or replacing it as necessary. Also, check the fuel filter and nozzle for dirt, cleaning or replacing them if needed. If there is moisture in the fuel or fuel tank, rinse the tank with clean kerosene. Finally, inspect all electrical connections between the transformer and the circuit board.
