What to do if my Remington REM-45-KFA-O Heater does not turn on?
    • B
      Bryan HarperAug 12, 2025
If your Remington Heater does not turn on and the lamp is not lit, it could be due to several reasons: the temperature limit sensor may have overheated, there may be no electrical power, the fuse may be blown, or there may be an improper electrical connection between the temperature limit sensor and the circuit board. Try pushing the power switch to “OFF” and allowing the heater to cool for 10 minutes before restarting it. Check the power cords for proper connection and test the power supply. Also, check and replace the fuse if necessary.

    • S
      stanleydeanSep 12, 2025
If your Remington Heater ignites but the main PCB shuts off shortly after, and the LED display shows “E1”, the possible causes include incorrect pump pressure, dirty filters (input, output, lint, or fuel), a dirty nozzle, a dirty or improperly installed photocell, a defective photocell, improper electrical connections between the main PCB and photocell, improper placement of the thermister sensor, or an improper electrical connection within the temperature limit switch. Suggested solutions include adjusting the pump pressure, cleaning or replacing the air, lint, or fuel filter, cleaning or replacing the nozzle and photocell, adjusting the photocell position, replacing the photocell, checking wiring connections, checking thermister placement, or replacing the temperature limit switch.
