The primary function of this device is to trim and style beards and mustaches to various lengths. It achieves this through an adjustable trimmer comb and multiple blade options. The main trimmer blade is suitable for general trimming, while a detail trimmer blade allows for more intricate styling and defining lines. Additionally, a stubble trimmer blade is included for achieving a short, cropped look. The device is equipped with a zoom wheel that enables users to easily select from nine different trim length settings, indicated by a length position indicator. To adjust the trim length, the user simply turns the zoom wheel. Turning it clockwise shortens the length, while turning it anti-clockwise lengthens it. For thinning and tapering beards or mustaches, the attachment comb should be secured to the main trimmer blade. The zoom wheel is then used to set the desired length, and the trimmer is slowly guided through the hair. When defining beard or mustache lines, the trimmer comb attachment should be removed, and the trimmer blade should be gently lowered onto the skin, moving towards the edge of the line. For creating a stubble look, the attachment comb should be set to position 1 (1.5mm) or 2 (2.5mm) with the stubble trimmer blade attached, and hair should be trimmed with upward or downward motions. For an even closer stubble look, the adjustable comb can be removed.
The blades are interchangeable. To release a blade, the adjustable comb is first removed, and then the blade release button on the front of the product is pushed. The blade will detach from its housing. To replace a blade, it must be aligned with the grooves on the blade cartridge and pushed into the housing until it snaps into place. The trimmer comb is also designed for easy attachment and removal, sliding down the grooves until it clicks into place. It can only be placed on the trimmer in one specific orientation.
For optimal results, it is recommended to trim dry beard, mustache, and sideburn hairs. Lotions should be avoided before use, and hair should be combed in the direction of growth. Removing the trimmer comb attachment is advised when defining hairline edges, trimming the nape of the neck, or shaping the beard line on the front of the neck.

Only the adjustable trimmer comb and cutter assembly can be removed for cleaning. Cleaning should always be done with a soft brush, such as the one supplied with the product. If hair builds up in the trimmer comb during trimming, the unit should be switched off, the comb pulled off, and then brushed or rinsed. Only light-grade oil, such as the supplied oil or sewing machine oil, should be used on the blades if needed. Harsh or corrosive cleaners should not be used on the units or their cutters. The trimmer is not washable and should not be rinsed under water or submerged in water, as this can cause damage.
To preserve battery life, it is recommended to let the battery run out every six months and then fully recharge it for 14-16 hours. If the product is not going to be used for an extended period (2-3 months), it should be unplugged from the mains and stored. When ready to use again, it should be fully recharged.
