Why my Remington RM2100 Snow Blower engine fails to start?
    • G
      Gabriella LucasJul 30, 2025
There are several possible reasons why your Remington Snow Blower engine might fail to start. It could be due to the choke not being in the CHOKE position, a disconnected spark plug wire, an empty or stale fuel tank, the engine not being primed, a faulty spark plug, or the safety key not being fully inserted into the switch. Make sure the choke is in the CHOKE position, the spark plug wire is connected, the fuel tank has clean, fresh fuel, the engine is properly primed, the spark plug is in good condition, and the safety key is fully inserted.

What to do if my Remington RM2100 fails to discharge snow?
    • N
      Nancy PetersonAug 3, 2025
If your Remington Snow Blower fails to discharge snow, the issue might be a clogged chute assembly or a foreign object lodged in the auger. Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire. Clean the chute and inside of the auger housing using a clean-out tool. Also, stop the engine immediately and disconnect the spark plug wire to remove any foreign objects from the auger. Additionally, check and adjust the auger control cable or replace the auger drive belt if they are damaged or loose.

Why is my Remington RM2100 engine running erratically?
    • C
      Christina StephensAug 8, 2025
An erratic engine in your Remington Snow Blower may stem from several causes. Ensure the engine isn't running on CHOKE; if it is, move the choke lever to the RUN position. Stale fuel, or water/dirt in the fuel system can also cause this issue; in that case, replace the fuel. If these steps don't resolve the problem, the carburetor may be out of adjustment or the engine may be over-governed.
